Where it all started

In 2004, Kimberley and I moved to South Africa a few days after our wedding. I decided to start a photography business in South Africa doing mainly weddings. One obstacle we had was the lack of a portfolio. Kimberley had her wedding dress with her and we decided to do a dress shoot.

Our first portfolio began with the photos below. We used our individual talents (her pose and my compose:) to build a site. The result was…we booked 12 weddings! Kimberley also shot with me on most of those weddings as a second shooter. The variety of weddings and different places we saw were simply amazing.
